Lazy Noodle Soup
The kind of comfort food you'll crave after a long day, rainy evening or when you're feeling a bit under the weather.
This is one of those meals that feels like it took much longer than it actually did.
The rich broth, warm noodles and sliced FROZN turn a handful of everyday ingredients into something genuinely comforting. It's the recipe you'll come back to every time you need a little reset.
Ingredients
- 2-3 FROZN chicken patties
- Chicken bone broth
- Noodles of your choice
- Soy sauce
Optional
- Pak choi
- Spring onions
- Spinach
- Mushrooms
- Sesame seeds
- Chilli oil
Method
-
1Bring the chicken bone broth to a gentle simmer.
-
2Add the noodles and cook according to the packet instructions.
-
3If you're using any greens like pak choi, spinach or spring onions, add them for the final couple of minutes.
-
4Meanwhile, heat FROZN straight from frozen and slice into strips.
-
5Pour the noodles and broth into a bowl, top with the sliced chicken and finish with a splash of soy sauce.
-
6Add any optional toppings and enjoy while it's piping hot.
Why this works
Soup usually takes time.
This one doesn't.
Because the chicken is already cooked, all you're really making is the broth. In less than 15 minutes you've got a bowl that feels nourishing, comforting and surprisingly homemade.
Why you’ll make this again
- Ready in around 10 minutes
- Proper comfort food with very little effort
- Easy to customise with whatever vegetables you've got
- Perfect for cold evenings
- Feels homemade without spending ages cooking

I always keep a carton of chicken bone broth in the cupboard for this recipe. Between that, a pack of noodles and FROZN in the freezer, you've always got the ingredients for a proper comforting dinner—even when the fridge looks empty.
