Every question.
Real answers.

FROZN is a real-food freezer staple designed to make the hardest part of a meal easier. Our first product is fully cooked frozen chicken patties made with chicken breast, carrots and simple seasonings. Take what you need from the freezer, heat it, then finish your meal however you want – wrap, bowl, salad, plate, whatever works that day. It’s not a ready meal. We do the protein part – you decide the rest.

No. FROZN is a meal component, not a complete ready meal. It’s the part that usually takes the most effort – already cooked and sitting in your freezer. Add rice, potatoes, salad, vegetables, a wrap, sauce – or just eat it however works for you.

Absolutely. FROZN was designed to make building a meal easier, but there are no rules. Add it to a wrap, bowl or salad – or just heat a few patties and eat them with whatever you have.

Yes. FROZN patties are fully cooked. You’re reheating them, not cooking raw chicken.

Our chicken isn't certified halal.

Yes – that's the point. Take out however many patties you need, reseal the pouch and keep the rest frozen for another day.

Chicken Breast (53%), Carrots, Egg, Wheat Flour (2%) (Wheat Flour, Calcium, Folic Acid, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Garlic Powder, Sea Salt, Ground Black Pepper. Simple, recognisable ingredients. No added preservatives. No added oils.

Real food isn’t perfectly identical – and neither is FROZN. Our patties are made with simple, recognisable ingredients and we don’t engineer them into perfectly uniform chicken discs. They’re NOT deep-fried, breaded or coated/dusted in starches or powders. They’re baked, and we don’t add any oils. So you may notice: -slight natural variation in shape and appearance -visible carrot and real-food texture -small differences in colour from patty to patty That’s intentional. We’d rather let the ingredients look like themselves than turn FROZN into a perfectly uniform, heavily processed-looking chicken disc. Once heated, expect a proper garlicky aroma, visible texture and a tender, meaty bite. Your patties should arrive frozen and firm.

Yes. FROZN contains egg and wheat/gluten. It is made in a factory that also processes fish, milk, mustard, soya and sulphites. Always check the information on the pouch before eating, particularly if you have an allergy or intolerance.

FROZN is not currently Halal certified.

A typical 150g serving / 3 patties provides: 136 kcal · 22.1g protein · 8.8g carbohydrate · 1.2g fat · 2.27g salt Per 100g: 91 kcal · 14.7g protein · 5.8g carbohydrate · 0.8g fat · 1.51g salt

FROZN was built with everyday nutrition front of mind. It’s high in protein, low in fat, made with simple, recognisable ingredients and contains no added oils or preservatives. Three patties provide 22.1g protein for 136 kcal – giving you an easy protein base to build the rest of your meal around.

8 patties / 400g per pouch.

There’s no fixed rule. For nutrition information, we use 3 patties / 150g as a typical serving. Some meals might use two, some three – it depends on your appetite and what else you're eating. FROZN is meant to flex around your meal, not tell you what your portion has to be.

Because the freezer is what makes FROZN useful. It means it can sit there until you actually need it – without needing to plan your week around a short fridge life. Frozen is how we keep it ready. It isn’t what defines the quality of the food.

There are no added oils in the FROZN chicken patty recipe.

FROZN patties are already fully cooked. For the quickest option, remove the packaging, place the patties on a suitable plate and microwave from frozen for 2–2½ minutes. Heating times are a guide and appliances vary, so always make sure the patties are piping hot throughout before eating. Alternative heating methods are also provided on the pouch & product page.

Straight from frozen. There’s no need to defrost FROZN before heating.

Yes. If you want a crispier finish, you can use an air fryer or pan-finish it according to the heating instructions on the pouch.

Yes. FROZN is a frozen food product and should be stored frozen according to the storage instructions on the pouch.

No. Do not refreeze once thawed.

FROZN keeps frozen for months, so you can keep a pouch in the freezer and use it when you actually need it. For the exact shelf life of your batch, always check the best-before date printed on the pouch. Store frozen and use by the best-before date shown on pack.

Each pouch is approximately 18 × 23cm across the front – around the footprint of a large paperback. Four or six pouches can be stacked flat, or fitted separately around other food in your freezer.

We deliver to UK addresses available through our checkout. Because FROZN is frozen and needs to reach you within an appropriate delivery window, some postcodes may not be available for delivery. Enter your postcode at checkout to see whether we can currently deliver to you.

Your FROZN is kept frozen at our fulfilment centre until it is picked and packed. We use an insulated delivery box, natural wool insulation and food-safe frozen cooling packs designed for frozen deliveries, then send your order using a next-working-day courier service.

No. Our current frozen-delivery system uses insulation and frozen coolant rather than dry ice. That means there is no specialist dry-ice handling required when your parcel arrives.

For the first batch, dispatch begins from 6 October. Once your individual order has been dispatched, delivery is normally expected on the next working day. You'll receive tracking as soon as your parcel leaves our fulfilment centre.

Because frozen delivery works differently from sending a normal parcel. Our current frozen-delivery setup has been designed around 4- and 6-pouch orders, allowing us to pack the product efficiently using the insulation and frozen coolant configuration selected for FROZN. It also makes the delivery cost per pouch more sensible.

4 pouches – £7.35 frozen delivery 6 pouches – delivery is on us

Because sending frozen food safely costs considerably more than sending a normal ambient parcel. Your order needs: frozen storage → insulated packing → frozen coolant → fast courier delivery We absorb part of the actual fulfilment and frozen-delivery cost ourselves rather than passing the full cost on to you.

We'll email you tracking information as soon as your individual order is dispatched. Please keep an eye on tracking because your parcel contains frozen food.

Not necessarily, but we recommend making sure the parcel can be retrieved promptly. If you won't be home, use the courier's delivery options to choose a suitable safe place or trusted neighbour, where available. Because your parcel contains frozen food, we recommend avoiding options that intentionally delay delivery to another day where possible.

Frozen coolant may soften during transit and you may notice some condensation inside the parcel. That does not automatically mean the food itself has thawed. Check the product itself. If the patties remain hard and frozen, put the pouches into your freezer promptly. If the product feels soft, unusually warm, appears to have started thawing or you're concerned about its condition, do not eat or refreeze it while the issue is being investigated. Contact hello@frozn.co.uk.

A courier delay does not automatically mean the food is unsafe. Monitor your tracking and check the condition of the actual product when it arrives. If you're concerned, contact hello@frozn.co.uk and we'll investigate.

Your frozen order arrives in a cardboard outer box, natural wool insulation and reusable frozen cooling packs. Once you've unpacked your FROZN: The box – flatten and recycle with your cardboard. The wool liner – made using natural sheep wool, which is biodegradable and compostable. The cooling packs – reusable, so pop them back in your freezer for picnics, food shopping or anything else that needs to stay cold. If you no longer want them, recycle them locally according to your local recycling guidance. We chose this setup because frozen delivery needs proper insulation and cooling – but we wanted the packaging around it to be as useful and considered as possible.

It means you're ordering from FROZN's first batch before it is ready to dispatch. Payment is taken when you place your preorder, your order is confirmed, and your FROZN will be dispatched once the first batch becomes available for fulfilment.

When you place your preorder.

For the first launch, FROZN is offering voluntary preorder cancellation windows. Private Early Access presale – cancellation requests must reach us before 09:00 on 18 September 2026. Public preorder – cancellation requests must reach us before 09:00 on 27 September 2026. Where a voluntary cancellation is accepted within the relevant window, we may deduct any actual non-refundable payment-processing cost already incurred on that specific order. The remaining balance is refunded to your original payment method. After the applicable cutoff, change-of-mind cancellations are no longer accepted. This does not affect your statutory rights. For full details, see our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Contact hello@frozn.co.uk as quickly as possible. If your order hasn't entered fulfilment yet, we'll try to update it. Once an order has been packed or dispatched, we may no longer be able to change the delivery address.

Not currently. Our D2C frozen-delivery system is currently built around 4- and 6-pouch orders.

No. There is no subscription and no automatic reorder. Order when it makes sense for you. Keep it in the freezer. Use it when you need it.

If your parcel is damaged, significantly thawed, missing items, contains the wrong products or otherwise isn't in the condition expected, contact us as soon as possible at: hello@frozn.co.uk Ideally contact us within 24 hours where possible, as that helps us investigate the delivery while the tracking and courier information is still current. Please include your order number, a short description and photographs where possible. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Food preference is personal, and because FROZN is a frozen/perishable food product we can't offer change-of-mind returns simply because the taste isn't for you. If there is an actual problem with the product – for example it is faulty, damaged, unsafe, incorrect or not as described – that's different. Contact us and we'll investigate under our Returns & Refunds Policy.

FROZN started as a homemade recipe created by Sasha. As the brand grew, Sasha worked closely with our co-manufacturer in Norfolk to adapt that recipe for larger-scale production – keeping the ingredients, flavour and feel of the original as close as possible. So while it’s now made professionally, the recipe itself still comes from the same place it started – Sasha’s kitchen.

British chicken breast.

Because we wanted something that could be there when real life isn't perfectly planned. The freezer gives FROZN its role – no need to buy fresh chicken, cook it from scratch or realise at 8pm that there's nothing useful in the fridge.

FROZN isn’t a ready meal, diet product or meal plan. We’re here to prove that convenient food doesn’t have to mean ultra-processed food or an ingredient list you wouldn’t recognise. We use the kind of ingredients we’d actually have in our own kitchen, then make the hardest part of the meal for you. Fully cooked. Ready in minutes. Flexible enough to become whatever meal you actually want that day.

That's the plan. We're starting deliberately with one product and learning from how people actually use it before expanding. Future flavours, proteins, formats and pack sizes are all things we may explore – but we don't want to make more products just for the sake of having more products.

Not yet – FROZN is currently available directly from us online. But retail is absolutely something we want to grow into. If there’s a supermarket, local shop, gym, café or anywhere else you’d genuinely buy FROZN from, email us at hello@frozn.co.uk and tell us where. Those messages genuinely help us understand where people want to find FROZN next – and give us something real to take into future retail conversations.
