Big Salad That's Actually Filling
The salad that doesn't leave you looking for snacks an hour later.
Let's be honest—most salads are just a side dish pretending to be dinner.
This isn't one of them.
Warm slices of FROZN, plenty of fresh vegetables and a proper dressing turn a bowl of leaves into something genuinely satisfying. The kind of salad you'll actually look forward to eating.
Ingredients
- 2-3 FROZN chicken patties
- Mixed salad leaves
- Avocado
- Cherry tomatoes
- Red pepper
- Your favourite dressing
Optional
- Dressings we love: Green Goddess, Honey mustard, Caesar, Balsamic vinaigrette
- Cucumber
- Red onion
- Croutons
- Parmesan
- Pumpkin seeds
Method
-
1Heat FROZN straight from frozen and slice if you prefer bite-sized pieces.
-
2Add the salad leaves to a large bowl.
-
3Top with the avocado, tomatoes, peppers and any other vegetables you've got.
-
4Add the warm sliced FROZN.
-
5Finish with a generous drizzle of your favourite dressing and toss everything together.
Why this works
The difference between a good salad and a disappointing one is simple—it actually needs to keep you full.
Warm chicken, healthy fats from the avocado and a proper dressing make this feel like a complete meal rather than an afterthought.
It's also one of the easiest ways to eat more vegetables without feeling like you're forcing yourself to.
Why you’ll make this again
- Ready in around 10 minutes
- Actually keeps you full
- Great for using up vegetables in the fridge
- Easy to customise with whatever you've got
- Perfect for lunch or dinner

People often ask me how I make salads feel satisfying, and honestly, it's not about following a recipe. Start with a generous amount of protein, don't be afraid of a proper dressing, and add something creamy like avocado. That's usually the difference between a salad you enjoy... and one that leaves you hunting through the cupboards an hour later.
